Acacia Africa offers to prioritise travellers affected by the Kumuka collapse

Adventure travel company Kumuka Worldwide announced last week that it was going into administration.

Fully bonded tour operator, Acacia Africa is offering to help clients traveling to Africa who are affected by the company’s collapse.

The Acacia team has already taken some enquiries in regard to affected clients and is willing to look at each client on an individual basis.

Leanne Haigh, Project & Development Manager at Acacia Africa, comments “We are hoping to offer clients caught up in the crisis the best deals and the most efficient options to coincide with their travel arrangements. While discounts may depend on the date of travel we are committed to assisting those who now find they need to make alternative travel arrangements.”

Currently Acacia Africa is offering a 20% discount on the majority of its overland tours booked by 31 August, with scheduled dates running through to the end of 2012.

Leanne Haigh, concludes, “I think it’s fair to say that everyone in the adventure industry from colleagues through to competitors had a great deal of respect for Kumuka and all of us are saddened by the recent news.”

Affected travellers can contact Acacia Africa on 020 7706 4700 or email info(at)acacia-africa.com for further information. The tour operator will prioritise any related enquiries in the wake of the Kumuka collapse.
