LIVE Coverage of the African Bush from the Djuma Reserve, in South Africa! Without a doubt my favourite African wildlife website out of them all! Web cams, chat, live safari game drives, bush walks, etc.

In fact, as I am writing to you now I am viewing waterbuck and impalas in real time. How cool is that?! There is so much to discover out there! The other day I also saw some buffalo and elephants, coming down to drink by the waterhole!

To be able to hear the sounds of the wild is even more incredible, especially when you live thousands of miles away from the African continent!

I actually got frightened once when I mistakenly forgot to switch off the web cam coverage. All of a sudden I almost fell off my chair…hippo calls from the waterhole …it felt as if the animals were just outside in my backyard!

7. African Safari Journals – Latest African Wildlife Sightings!

Such a cool service that enables you to get the latest wildlife sightings from the Kruger National Park, Pilanesberg, Addo, Etosha and Hluhluwe-Imfolozi parks in Southern Africa, directly to your cellphone! And the best part is, it is absolutely FREE! You heard me right: free wildlife info! The only costs you will incur is from your own service provider to retrieve data to your cellphone. Way cheaper than SMS (less than 1 South African cent per message)!

The tool is especially useful if you are in one of the reserves mentioned above, and would like to know where to search for animals! The system provides an accurate map with different color markings according to the animal species encountered, and where they were found. For instance, red is for lion, green for white rhino, black for leopard, etc.

The great part on this site is that you get feedback from both the experts, and tourists. In other words, you get a perspective from both ends. Highly recommended when planning a trip to a specific African destination.

Always LIVE, Always Wild! Similar to WildEarth, yet it gives you more web cam options as far as live African safaris are concerned. Choose between Nkorho Pan, Tembe Elephant Park, Elephant Plains & Flamingo Island! Also has On Demand African Video Clips, which enables you to view wildlife video highlights!

The only concern that I have with Africam is that they put too many adverts on the site & in their videos!
