Here are August’s free desktop wallpapers for your computer. The first two photographs were taken by me in Pilanesberg on my last trip there. This elephant actually would not get out of the road so we sat there waiting for around half an hour for him to finish doing his thing. I swear he was staying in the road on purpose but the bright side of it was the photo opportunities!
The third image was taken by Gerry van der Walt, surprisingly also at Pilanesberg. I thought it was a great picture – you hardly ever see hippos lying like this in the bush, so cute, dozing away in the grass.
