While I don’t usually like to share these kinds of images, in some instances you just HAVE TO! As you probably know, the World Cup is well on its way now, and South Africa is the center stage of a battle for glory, pride and money!

On a different level however, another kind of battle is taking place: the battle against canned hunting! The term has been evoked before, so I won’t drag out on the matter. However, notice that this horrendous practice is still very popular, and is responsible for the deaths of over 1000 lions per annum (among other animals).

If you have a minute or two, do me a favour and do two things:

  1. Watch this video and comment on it (viewer discretion is advised).
  2. Visit the “Four Paws International” website and Sign the Petition against Canned Hunting.

Thanks for your time! ;)

To Hunt or Not to Hunt? That is the Question...

To Hunt or Not to Hunt? That is the Question…

To hunt, or not to hunt? That is the question (and a very tough one indeed…)!  The issue is extremely controversial, and can be associated with another concern: is hunting good, or bad? If you take the two extremes of the spectrum, animal rights activists (“anti-hunters”) will tell you that ...

  1. Anil says:

Just signed the petition – what a senseless practice of killing.

  2. That is sickening that this is going on. These animals need to be preserved, not brutally massacred. This kind of behaviour is what leads to animals becoming extinct.

  3. Safari Kenya says:

This is very wrong and should not be happening in Africa. There are just too few lions left in the wild for such behavior to be allowed
