White Crowned Shrike - Wildlife Photography

White Crowned Shrike

Nikon D300, Nikon 80-200 @125mm, 1/4000, f/3.5, ISO 200

___________________________

Bird photography is about patience and luck.  You need to be willing to sit, watch and wait.  A few weeks ago we sat watching this White Crowned Shrike, willing him to move.  As luck would have it we did not have to wait too long and what made it even better is that he took off directly towards us.  I shot off only two frames, with this being the first one.  Gotta love it when things just work out!

More soon! ;)
