H – 72 h to website launch!
After months and months of challenges, doubts and perseverance, we can finally say that the time has come!
Yes, the time has finally come to launch AfricaFreak’s new website!
While the site was initially set for launch in mid September, technology can sometimes pose a series of unplanned complications!
That being said, everything seems to be falling into place nicely now (cross fingers). Therefore, I invite you to keep an empty spot in your agenda on the following date: THIS coming Thurdsay November 3, 2011.
Here’s how things should unfold in the next 72 hours or so:
- On Wednesday morning, the IT team and myself will make sure everything’s ready for THE date.
- On Thursday, the website may get slightly disrupted for 4-5 hours while the new website is being uploaded onto the server. Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding.
- By Friday, all should be in place, although small tweaks, testing and updates will probably take place over the next couple of weeks.
NB: The current blog will be redirected to africafreak.com/blog/blog, and most of the content will be preserved.
Until then, have a “fantabulous” day!
