The boat safaris in Selous Park are fantastic. We were in a tiny little metal boat with hippos surrounding us, it was quite an adventure. There is an Italian restaurant on the patio at the slipway that is pretty delicious and reasonably priced. Zanzibar has an amazing culture and some fantastic beaches as well!
