Yes, in fact, they can be incredibly luxurious but there are safari experiences to suit all budgets.
I am often amazed by the amount of clients who will not even consider a tented safari, as they think that it will be too rustic and back to nature.

They have yet to see the likes of Hamilton’s Tented Camp or Ngala. They may look like tents but with en-suite luxurious bathrooms and the softest linen on full size double beds, it is not exactly roughing it. In fact, the roughest it gets, is having an outdoor shower – now considered a feature as a unique experience! and optional to an indoor bath!

I would go camping any day if it was at one of these tented locations!!!
