Home to some 300 + Mountain Gorillas, Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable forest is a beautiful ancient forest that holds nearly half the world’s Mountain Gorilla population, as well as 350 chimpanzees. Rwanda

Slightly more accessible than Uganda, Rwanda is the better option for a shorter trip to track the Gorillas. The trekking can also be slightly on the easier here though the rewards are just as fantastic.
